Training and Implementation

• Assisted in moving an intermediate-sized OB/Gyne practice that was experiencing a rapid decline in the functionality of their practice management software onto a new platform - fully functional and submitting claims - within three business days. Training in the system was conducted and continuing support provided until the practice was self-sufficient.

• Lead Implementation consultant for Practice Management software installation into a 50+ provider multi-specialty group. Coordinated and completed database configuration, setup, staff training and go-live.

• Large multi-specialty group was struggling with their newly installed practice management system. HuTech was asked to provide an assessment of the issues. This led to an engagement to assist in training and establishment of procedures to be followed to improve the management of billing and collection.

• Performed over 100 Allscripts PM software implementations.

Policy and Procedure Development

• A five person specialty group had grown to the point where they were located on three different levels of the same building. Process improvement was difficult for them to accomplish. HuTech found the opportunity to reorganize the group in contiguous space and complete a program of team building and process improvement.

Revenue Cycle Management

• Achieved a 60% reduction in AR and 33% increase in monthly receipts in less than 12 months for a multi-hospital specialty group.

• Increased the monthly payments of an OB/Gyne office by over 37% in less than 12 months.

• Increased collections by 23% based on a 6% increase in charges for a 12-provider specialty practice in the Midwest.

New Practice Setup

• Two specialty providers wishing to remove themselves from a prior practice arrangement asked for assistance to be up and running in a new space, totally electronic within a three month period. HuTech was able to accomplish this and the practice has had much success.
